British STARTUP QUALIFY THEIR SPACE HARDWARE AT ALBA AHEAD OF FLIGHT with nasa

We recently welcomed Ali Mani Chief Engineer of CAVU Aerospace to Alba’s Test house. They are based in Stirling in United Kingdom.

Ali said “we manufacture the computers for space application, satellites, cubesats and smallsats. We are shaking our products as we need to make sure that they survive the the vibration or harsh environment of the space. One of them was for one of the robotic arms that NASA is going to deploy.”

They were impressed by how quickly the Alba team were able to turn around the test articles

“Everything was great! It was really quick, we had three three device shaken we came in at 9am in the morning and then all tests were done before 12. It just took 1 hour for each product which is great.”
