Small Ionised Hinges – Substantial Space Heritage  

Our miniature ionised hinges are now available for organisations seeking tried-and-tested deployable capabilities.  

Across the 62 PocketQube satellites we have launched over 11 missions, 19 have been our own Unicorn-2 PocketQubes, each utilising these hinges for their deployable solar wings. 

Heritage is a crucial factor when it comes to space hardware. In total, more than 380 hinges have successfully flown in orbit, providing the proven flight heritage  

As part of our goal to democratise access to space, we want to make this solution available so organisations can continue their missions with confidence. Recent customers include Princeton University.
