ALBA CLUSTER 3/4 LAUNCH

Alba Orbital successfully launched the Alba Cluster 3/4 (‘That Time of Year’) mission from Cape Canaveral (USA) onboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket (‘Transporter-3’) on 13th January 2022 at 15:25:39 UTC. This mission served as Alba Orbital’s second successful orbital flight and is the largest PocketQube launch to date, delivering a total of 13 pico-satellites to orbit.

Onboard this rideshare mission were thirteen spacecraft comprised of 5cm PocketQube pico-satellites from eight different countries. Mission launched on Alba Cluster 3/4 include pico-satellites developed by Alba Orbital; TU Delft (Netherlands); Carnegie Mellon University (USA); Ariel University (Israel); Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University (Turkey); PION LABS (Brazil); Innova Space (Argentina).

Pico-satellites manifested on this launch served missions dedicated to Internet of Things (IoT), Education, In-orbit Demonstration and Earth Observation applications.
