Accounts Assistant (Full-time)

Alba Orbital is a fast growing company based in Glasgow which specialises in building and sending the smallest (PocketQube) satellites in the world to space. We have a proven track record in recording “Space Heritage” with our latest launch due from the USA in June 2021.

With a continuous program of selling to clients and launching in space with companies like SpaceX we encourage our staff to participate in the growth of the company.

Due to the continued growth pattern an Accounts Assistant is required to assist the Head of Finance with the day to day duties of the Finance department. Applicants should have with a background in Finance, either with a HND / HNC / qualification in Accountancy or Finance. Experience with Xero or Sage accounting packages would be an advantage. Excel application experience would be helpful in assisting with cash flow forecasts etc and a willingness to partake in proposal writing where necessary is a must, as well as any ad-hoc duties.

A “can do” attitude and attention to detail is essential as this is a small company and therefore flexibility is required. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
