Overview
The entry level OBC utilises a TI MSP430 microcontroller for low power consumption and flexibility is designed to be the primary control hub for your satellite. The board is readily programmable to fit your projects as required and comes with drivers for reading on board sensor data. The OBC comes with temperature, RTC, accelerometer, gyrometer and magnetometer sensor capabilities for on board diagnostics and experimentation. The OBC also contains reprogrammable NOR Flash memory to store critical parameters for system operation and also has a SD card expansion slot for expandable memory options. The board relies upon a regulated 3.3V supply voltage which can be enabled and disabled by external power systems.
The OBC meets PQ60 standards to facilitate easy interoperability with other systems over SPI and I2C protocols that conform standard.
